Allion Legal was formed on 1 July 2009 as the result of the merger between the established Western Australian law firms of Michael Whyte & Co and Pullinger Readhead Lucas. The merger has enabled Allion Legal to become Western Australia’s largest boutique legal practice offering expert services across the resources, corporate, property and workplace relations sectors as well as the finance and technology sectors.
Michael Whyte & Co was established in 1978 and was a well respected and highly regarded law firm which had seen rapid growth over the last 10 years. Specialising in property law, commercial law, securities, wills, estate administration and succession planning, the company also enjoyed a strong presence in rural Western Australia. That commitment remains with Allion Legal continuing the practice of monthly visits to Esperance in order to serve the wider community.
Pullinger Readhead Lucas was initially established in 1980 by current Allion Legal principal Philip Pullinger. It evolved into one of Western Australia’s most highly regarded legal practices focused exclusively on providing corporate and commercial legal services to the resources, property and technology sectors.
The promise of both companies to their clients was to provide commercially focused advice based on a thorough understanding of their clients’ businesses, industries, objectives and philosophies. The ongoing key to our success as Allion Legal is to maintain that personal approach, delivering superior legal representation services and building long-term relationships with our clients.
The combined resources and depth of expertise brought to Allion Legal by Michael Whyte & Co and Pullinger Readhead Lucas enables us to deliver that same service to more clients throughout the state and to build on the strong relationships and success of both firms.
